Do not expect Google Chrome OS on tablet pc anytime soon!

Despite recent indications that Google Chrome is preparing Tablet OS, Google says it is "completely focused on mobile" in the near future.

Google has raised some eyebrows last month when it made changes in the Chrome source code OS. He added several references to touchscreens and tablets, including a new tab Touch optimized. The idea of a tablet OS Chrome is nothing new about Google even made fun of such a device in February 2010.

When asked about future plans for Google Chrome for OS on a notebook, Google Chrome director Sundar Pichai said that Chrome OS is "agnostic" and the hardware works. In other words, Chrome OS easily transferred to the tablets, workstations and other devices connected to the Internet.

That said, Pichai, Google said that Chrome is a laser-focused operating system of the notebook. He noted that Google wants to reach as many people as possible, and many people use laptops in tablet or desktop. "We are fully focused on the handset," Pichai said.

This does not mean that Google has ignored the tablets, though. On Tuesday, Google released Android Honeycomb 3.1, the latest version of the operating system optimized tablet. When the operating system is already optimized for phones and tablets, Google has no incentive to bring the pads Chrome OS soon.
